The Motor Claims Process Explained
Posted by Grant Georgiades on August 5, 2016.
If you’ve been unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident you’ll understandably want to have your claim settled with as little inconvenience as possible.
We’ve created some useful tools to help guide you through the process.
We monitor our claims service and that of our insurer partners to try to prevent delays wherever possible. Unfortunately, claims can become complicated, especially when legal proceedings are required.
You may find yourself being contacted by a variety of companies, all of whom play important roles.
We have put all of this information together for you in one handy flowchart – so you can see what will happen when and who might be in contact with you in the claims process.

At Plan we use a specialist accident management company, Kingsway Claims. After an incident you will need to contact their helpline to report it as soon as possible.
Kingsway Claims have been selected for a number of reasons.
Click here if you’d like to read our sales manager Daniel Severin explaining the advantages of using Kingsway in more detail.
In addition to Kingsway you may need to be contacted by car hire firms, solicitors, your insurers and accident repair centres/garages.
