What a year! We’ve been winning awards like we’ve been writing policies.
We’ve been working hard over the past 12 months to give our clients gold standard service and competitive cover that suits the needs of our commercial motor insurance clients.
The team here at Plan have not only been involved in the daily hard work, but have been baking, jumping, walking, doodling, driving (and crashing), and sponsoring these past months.
Our sponsorships support events that aim to raise industry standards by encouraging companies to strive for success, or providing a charitable contribution to those within that particular sector. As always we enjoy being able to get involved and work closely with the trades that we service.

Alongside awards, there have been numerous charities and other creative trade activities we’ve enjoyed contributing towards – we sponsored 3 black cabs in this year’s Magical Taxi Tour trip to Disneyland, The Gentleman Cabbie YouTube channel, the CabCast Euro takeover, London Taxi PR, and we’ll be taking part in Save the Children’s Jumper Day in December.
Plan has exhibited at Auto Body Professional Club events, Licenced Private Hire Car Asosciation Roadshow and Car Delaer Expo (CDX16) with our wonderful Caterham 7, with lucky winners of our competitions on offer for attendees – Track Day giveaways, Free Fuel Vouchers, and Discount Vouchers. Plan Marketing Director, Grant Georgiades, was asked to present our plans for a Taxi Insurance Checker (TIC) web portal to the National Taxi Association membership at their AGM .
TIC is a project we have worked hard on over the past year into order to safeguard the public and to prevent honest taxi drivers’ insurance premiums rising. Developing an idea that could benefit the entire Taxi industry as pubilic hire and private hire insurance specialists has been very rewarding – we hope the project will be picked up by Government and made into a reality.
Having already presented TIC to TfL, and talked through the proposal with The GMB and LPHCA, we were honoured to be asked to present at this year’s Insurance Times Innovation and Tech Awards, where we were nominated as Finalists.
With all this happening, you’d think we’d been too exhausted for 2017 – but we’re not! Everyone at Plan is looking forward to another great year providing high quality insurance cover and gold standard customer service. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all our existing and new clients for chosing Plan.
