Plan Insurance Brokers beat Allianz to the title at Car Dealer Magazine’s Industry Awards.
We’re delighted to say we’ve been named Trade Insurance Provider of the Year by the Car Dealer Power Awards. The awards are based on a nationwide survey of car dealerships and aim to highlight the best suppliers for traders to do business with.
As a medium sized family business it’s a significant coup for us. To win, we beat off stiff competition from global insurance powerhouses such as Allianz, NIG and previous winners Aviva.
Small Enough to Care, Big Enough to Count
We’re well established in the industry and have been trading for over 25 years. We service over 7,000 motor trade insurance clients and our team of around 70 agents deal with an extensive panel of leading motor trade combined insurers, many of whom we beat to the title.
As a small family business our resources are dwarfed by the household names we were up against. So it’s a tremendous achievement to have come out on top and a glowing endorsement of our work.
The prestigious awards that took place on Thursday evening at Portsmouth’s striking Spinnaker Tower are organised by Car Dealer Magazine. This is the seventh year that the publication has conducted an extensive survey of its readership to find the best products and providers available to the car dealer market. The winners include cleaning chemicals, warranty providers, vehicle manufacturers and many more suppliers to the trade.
Car Dealer Magazine describe the awards as, “The ultimate litmus test of what car dealers are thinking right across the UK.” Because the survey is confidential the trade journal believes dealers are happy to say exactly what they’re thinking,
Hundreds of dealers filled out paper and online forms and it was clear to see they were as vocal and as opinionated as ever.
James Baggott, CEO of Baize Group, the parent company of Blackball Media, publishers of Car Dealer says,
These awards are significant as it is the customers who decide the winners. The Car Dealer team has no influence or say in who wins the awards – dealers do that. The winners are part of an elite club, recognised by dealers for excelling at what they do.
