The Motor Claims Process Explained

If you’ve been unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident you’ll want to have your claim settled with as little inconvenience as possible.

At Plan we utilise the services of a specialist accident management company, Lemonaid Motor Legal Ltd. After an incident you should contact their motor claim helpline to report it as soon as possible. Their expert advice and assistance will minimise delays.

Unfortunately, in some instances claims can become complicated, especially when legal proceedings are required. We’ve created some useful information to help guide you through the process.

Lemonaid’s Motor Legal claims service has been selected for a number of reasons. Click here if you’d like to read our sales manager Daniel Severin explaining in more detail the advantages of using their services.

After reporting your claim you may find yourself being contacted by a variety of companies, all of whom play important roles. In addition to Lemonaid Motor Legal Ltd you may need to liaise with car hire firms, solicitors, your insurers and accident repair centres/garages.

Please note that we monitor our claims service and that of our insurer partners to try to prevent delays wherever possible.  We have compiled the below information in order to help you understand the claims process.
