Motor traders tend to be incredibly busy people. Running your company probably doesn’t leave a lot of spare time or energy for networking and learning at industry events.
Although wrenching yourself away can be a struggle, doing so could prove a very worthwhile investment!
Meet the Plan Team
The automotive sector covers a wide range of activities including (amongst others) mechanical servicing, crash repairs and sales. Plan will be travelling around the country in 2017 to support a number of trade events from across the mix.
They’re a great opportunity for you to say hello, give us feedback and ask us any insurance questions you might have. With most relationships these days established online or over the phone you might also like to put some faces to names.
Like you, we are often occupied with the day to day tasks that ensure we deliver the best possible service to our customers. However we do our best to get out and about to support trade events and always enjoy doing so.

CDX17
A free to attend annual expo organised by Car Dealer Magazine for the benefit of the automotive industry. There will be inspirational talks from leading figures within the motor trade, key note speeches from the likes of Google, Facebook and Twitter, masterclass sessions, seminars, workshops and more – all aimed at automotive professionals. The also event invites suppliers from across the industry to showcase their products and services to dealers.
Auto Body Professional Club (ABP)
The ABP Club is a collection of individuals from all sides of the automotive industry, including: repairers, insurers, vehicle hirers, equipment companies, paint producers, parts manufacturers, accident management firms etc. who are concerned with seeing the body repair sector prosper. The ABP Club’s main aims are to provide these individuals with community and communication.
Mechanex
Mechanex is the largest independent aftermarket trade show for the motor trade industry. This is an annual event hosted at multiple locations accross the UK. Visitors will be able to get their hands on a wide range of: tools, plant and machinery and diagnostic equipment in one venue. There are also useful technical sessions with practical information and learnings.
