New Chauffeur Vehicles at The Geneva Motor Show 2015

New Chauffeur Vehicles at The Geneva Motor Show 2015

Ultimate chauffeur vehicles at the Geneva Motor Show

So its that time of year again when all of us petrol heads get very excited as a host of the new cars are paraded by motor trade manufacturers at The Geneva Motor Show.

We get to drool over the fantastic new offerings from the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin plus many more. This year is no exception – with lots of exotic cars for us all to dream about. Some are destined to go into production. Others are merely concepts dreamed up to show what engineers could conjure for the world if money were no object.

My personal favourite after only a quick look is the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition. However, in my follow up blog in a few days this may change depending what else the show has to offer!

What about new chauffeur vehicles for our chauffeur clients?

It’s still early on in the show and not everything has been released yet; but one of the potential chauffeur vehicles of the future is a Self-Drive Electric offering from from Giugiaro called the GEA.

This should definitely catch the eye of both our car dealer and chauffeur insurance clientèle;

The car looks very futuristic and wouldn’t be out of place in a Sci-Fi film. Currently very little is known about it at the moment but the vehicle has some interesting features for chauffeurs. They include:

  • Three driving modes – Business, Wellness and Dream
  • The inside can be turned into a meeting place with front seats which turn 180 degrees and two screens which drop from the roof.
  • It will be powered by four 190 BHP electric motors, giving a total of 760BHP and a top speed of 155mph.

I will continue to keep an eye on the Geneva Motor Show and once its in full flow we will report back on what vehicles the household names – as well as the less well known manufacturers offer up that could be of interest to our Motor Trade and Chauffeur Insurance clients.
