What are the most commmon circumstances in which I might invalidate the cover provided by my taxi insurance policy?

All Driver(s) & Vehicle(s) MUST be badged and plated by the local council / PCO(Public Carriage Office) and abide by the terms and conditions set down by them. Failure to do so is one way in which you may invalidate your taxi insurance.

Vehicles not owned & registered to the Insured/Proposer (eg. Rented) will be excluded from cover on the taxi insurance policy.

No cover is provided for loss or damage to your vehicle(s) if the vehicle(s) is unoccupied and the ignition key is in or on your vehicle.

These are just three of the most significant and commmon circumstances in which you might invalidate your taxi insurance. For a full list of exclusions please consult your policy booklet.
