Home Insurance Sales Agent
Vacancy details;

We are predominately a commercial insurance broker seeking an experienced home insurance sales agent to join our growing personal lines department. You will be responsible for warm calling existing customers cross selling home insurance. The outbound telephone campaign is aided by an advanced computer and telephone system making management of work flow a breeze.
You will also be required to give support to the existing personal lines team where required and need to handle new business quotations, renewals and adjustments for car and van insurance policies.
Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to deal efficiently, confidently and professionally with clients and a drive to succeed could see a rapid rise up the company ladder.

Experience/Qualifications: Home insurance experience essential; sales experience essential; car and van insurance experience a bonus; previous use of SSP Electra M3 computer system a bonus.

New Business Sales Executive, Taxi & Chauffeur Division

Our Taxi & Chauffeur Insurance office is a lively target focused environment with a great atmosphere where staff are expected to deliver service, value and expertise with energy. The department currently handles over £2,500,000 GWP and it is growing rapidly.
The Company subscribes to an online system giving fully approved in house training. Sponsorship is also available for willing staff members to take recognised insurance qualifications.
The successful applicants main responsibility will be to handle inbound new telesales enquiries and negotiate new business sales terms. Enquiries are to be pursued to ensure the highest possible conversion rate. All work is to comply within FSA Regulations.
Previous insurance experience is required along with a proven track record of delivering in new business sales. A strong organisational ability is required along with excellent relationship building and communication skills. Plan Insurance subscribe to an online training system (giving full approved in-house training), as well as on the job sales training. All employees qualify for relevant study sponsorship.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Bonuses are paid in addition to basic salary and are based on sales targets.

Insurance Account Handler

The successful applicant will be directly responsible for customer service, sales and administration of a portfolio of clients within Plan Insurance’s General & Commercial Insurance department.
Responsibilities will include negotiating with both the client and insurers over new business terms, renewal prices, mid-term adjustments, cover extensions and general service issues. All work is to comply within FSA Regulations.

Trainee Administrative Assistant
Vacancy details;
- Duration of Job: Permanent
- Wage: £10,000 Starting Salary
- Holiday: Starting at 20 days + bank holidays per annum
- Probation Period: Three Months
- Times / Days of Work: Mon-Fri 9-5.30 45mins for Lunch
As a trainee your role will be to perform basic administration and sales duties to enable senior staff to concentrate on more complex administrative tasks. You will be expected to act as part of the team and as such your job role may occasionally be altered to help others complete their duties.
The main responsibility of the successful applicant will be to perform general administrative duties and provide support to the Team Leader as required.
Duties include:
- Writing and dispatching routine or straight forward letters
- Answering general queries by telephone
- Dealing with daily diaries and postal queries
- Photocopying documents
- Opening & Sorting post
- Obtaining information from the computer
- Maintaining records, filing systems and computer files
- Ordering stationery
- Assisting Administrative Team Leader as necessary
- Learning product information
- Developing IT skills necessary to collect clients information
Experience/Qualifications needed: ‘C’ in GSCE Maths and English required.
